This error message means that you have attempted to log in to CAPS Online with incorrect information at least 3 times. If you receive this error message you should not attempt to log in again with incorrect information or your account will be locked for 24 hours. Instead, return to the CAPS Online log-in page and proceed to do the following:
- Verify that you are using an email address (not a username) in the "Email Address" box
- Verify you are using the email address that you used to create your NYC ID
- Double-check that you are using the correct password. If you've forgotten your password, click "forgot password" and follow the instructions to reset it.
